What customers say?

“ Amazing friendly service, good to know some basic Japanese as staff speak very limited English. Great place to try a variety of sakes at a very reasonable price and excellent food to go along with it. Seemed to be only locals present, great for wanting to be an invisible tourist. ”

“ The staff was very nice, helpful and patient in explaining how the sake selection worked and their recommend sake was very good. Some Japanese is needed to communicate what you want correctly but Google translate will help you. This restaurant is on the second floor. ”

- Thanakrit Tharincharoen -

“ 頼んだお料理全てすごくおいしかったです。初めて食べたカメノテは見た目怖かったけど美味しかったです。日本酒の種類が多く、飲み比べもできるから楽しかったです。スタッフの方がとっても対応よく親切でした。お料理が美味しい上に接客も気持ちよく、本当にいいお店でした。周りにグループが多かったからか、隣の友だちの声も聞こえないくらいうるさかったのが残念だけど、それはお店のせいじゃない。またぜひ行きたいなと思います。 ”

“ This is an amazing place with unexpectedly good food and great service!!! The female chef took her time to make every dish spectacular while my group and I were enjoying the best sakes there is in Tokyo!!! I highly recommend any foreigner to come and enjoy this little restaurant on the 2F floor to kick start their trip as this is as local as you can get with amazing food!!! ”

- John Ho -

“ Top range of sake to chose from, food was also unique and delicious with unusual large serve for the price. Definitely recommend and will be back next time we’re in the area! ”

“ I had an amazing experience drinking Saké for the first time. There is a lot of choice and your able to ask some advice from the staff crew which I asked for and I wasn’t disappointed at all! It smelted and tasted very nice, highly recommend the “Sanuki Kuradei” For the food it was also amazing, next time i take a 2 person portion The restaurant has also some nice jazzy vibe, making the place looking even better, really loved the mood here! Arigatō Chef and to all the crew, till we meet again ”

“ We went here on the recommendation of a YouTube channel called HarbLife. It was right in Ikebukuro and was in a building where the bar was located on the second floor. You have to look for the banner on the balcony of the bar to know you're at the right building. Lots of fun places to go into and you enter via the elevator of the building. The staff is very charismatic and helpful with your sake selection as they specialize in serving sake. The walls are lined with sake bottles, and the server chose two for us - one that was easy to drink and one that was sweet. This place does have a seat charge so you will get complimentary oden-type food at the beginning as a snack. We had a lot of fun and would recommend to anyone, especially those who are not sake connoisseurs and want to try new things. ”
